I currently hold a United States Coast Guard Masters License. Reel Diel Fishing is also fully insured. My favorite fishing times are Springtime Smallmouths on Lake Erie and Late Summer trolling for Monster King Salmon on Lake Ontario. Welcome to Reel Diel Fishing. I am Capt Joel and I would like to thank you for visiting our web site. First a little about your Captian, born and raised in the Niagara area. I currently hold a United States Coast Guard Masters License. Every chance I get you will find me on the water (Shh...Don't tell my girlfriend) I enjoy fishing for kings, walleyes and anything with a fin. I started fishing when I was just big enough to hold a pole. I remember my father having to help me reel in the little sunnies. No help needed now, I am a little older and I can bring in 27lb kings, 18lb lakers, 15lb steelies, 10lb walleyes and 5lb smallies. All these fish have been boated with Reel Diel Fishing. When your in hot pursuit of top notch fish you need top notch gear! Wherever the fishing takes us we will be chasin'em down in a 19'6" 1999 Starcraft Superfisherman. Sporting a 1999 125hp Mercury and a Minnkota 24 volt 65 pound thurst bow mount trolling motor, there is nowhere for'em to hide. If they do happen to sneak under some weeds or logs we will have a real good look at them with the Lowrance X-16C and X-15MT fishfinders with GPS. All of our poles and reels are loaded with the best line and best terminal tackle. This equates to more hook ups and less heartache. Here at REEL DIEL FISHING attention to detail is in every bit of what we do, this makes your outing that much more enjoyable.

Here fishy, fishy, fishy! Never mind let's just chase'em down. This 1998 20' Starcraft Pro-Elite gets up and goes with the help of a 225hp Mercury Optimax. The Deep-V and rippin' motor will move us from spot to spot in record time while still being comfortable and safe. This rig also boast a 9.9hp kicker motor, Motorguide 65lb thrust trolling motor and Lowrance Fishfinder/GPS combo. All the same great poles and tackle rigged and ready for you. Lets Rock!

Fishing Calendar
When your looking for a trophy timing is everything. Below is a listing of the different species and when the hot times are to catch the BIG ONES!!!

	Smallmouth Bass - May & June are hot on Lake Erie for some fatties. June thru September is great for the kids on Lake Ontario and the Niagara River with steady numbers. *King Salmon -* September thru October are primetime for big fat sharks. April thru May Kings can be targeted off-shore. Size don't compare to the Fall but a Spring King can reel-ie rip some drag in the cold water. HANG-ON!!!!
	Lake Trout & Brown Trout - November thru April good numbers of fish can be caught. Lake Trout are out of season from Oct. 1st to Jan. 1st. Best numbers come from February to April. With 40-50 fish not uncommon. Browns move in close around April and are a blast flat-line trolling with planer boards. *Steelhead/Rainbow Trout -* October thru April you can have some real fun with these guys. Winter time produces some real monsters in the Lower Niagara River.
	Walleye - May thru August produces great catches of 'eyes on Lake Erie. Deep water trolling is usually the most effective way to get consistent hook-ups. *Musky -* October thru November is the time to hunt these powerful predators. The Upper Niagara River is home to some of the biggest muskies in the world.

Full Day Charter - 7hrs.	$310 1 or 2 people	$385 3 people
Half Day Charter - 4hrs.	$250 1 or 2 people	$325 3 people

Reel Diel Fishing can make arrangements for large groups and corporate groups. A $100 deposit is required to hold your date. The deposit is refundable* as long as a 14 day notice of cancellation is given. Book your trip today and we will customize the details to make your charter a fun and memorable outing. We always reserve the right to switch dates or cancel a trip due to bad weather or poor fishing conditions. In the event we have to totally cancel a trip your deposit will be fully refunded.

* Any trips canceled by Reel Diel Fishing are entitled to the refund of the full deposit. Any trips canceled by the customers prior to 14 days before the trip date are subject to a $20 processing fee. If a trip is canceled less than 14 days before the trip date no refund will be issued. All gift cards/certificates are valid for one year from date of issue. By sending a deposit or purchasing a gift card/certificate you are agreeing to these terms.

Fishing License Info

Who needs a New York State Fishing License?
Anyone 16yrs of age or older must posses a valid New York State fishing license while fishing New York State waters.

What types of license are there?
New York State offers Resident & Non-Resident licenses. Below is a table that outlines the different types of licenses and the cost.

Where can I get my New York State fishing license?
NYS fishing licenses can be obtained at any sporting goods store or bait shop. Let us know where you are staying and we can give you the easiest place to pick one up.

Where can I get my Canadian license?
Canadian licenses are available at Canadian Tire just over the border. With a number of locations just over the border getting a Canadian license is no problem.

All of your questions will be answered for tips and tricks to fishing. You can even bring a GPS if you want to mark some spots. We will also provide ice on the boat if you want to keep a few. Reel Diel Fishing can also help you with your trip plans and recommend great places to to eat and visit. We can also make arrangements to meet any special needs or request when possible. It's your fishing charter and that's the way we treat it. That's what puts us above the rest.
